Cantante, songwriter e musicista, Nicola Sipprell è nata nel sud di Londra nel 1987. È cresciuta circondata da diverse influenze musicali: suo padre, canadese, un pianista classico e sua madre, una cantante greca.
Accanto ai suoi tre fratelli maggiori, musicisti classici, iniziò ad imparare violino e pianoforte a 6 anni ed entrò nel coro della chiesa locale, dove restò per 10 anni. Presto scoprì il suo naturale talento e amore per la musica R ‘n’ B/soul e fu capace di sfruttare la preparazione classica a suo vantaggio. A 8 anni entrò in un corso di linguaggio e teatro che le permise di vincere numerosi premi e medaglie nei festival.
L’incredibile predisposizione e orecchio di Nicola per l’armonia si vide già dai primi anni. A 10 anni, quando scrisse la sua prima canzone, fu capace di incorporarla nella sua prima registrazione in assoluto con Rob Persaud, amico di famiglia e produttore. Nicola ha continuato ha sviluppare le sue intricate linee armoniche negli anni e questo è diventato segno caratteristico nella sua musica, che la distingue fra mille.
A 13 anni entrò nel gruppo di danza Pineapple, che le permise di esibirsi al Blue Peter Queens Silver Jubilee come ballerina per Zoe Birkett da Pop Idol (2002). Nicola più tardo entrò in un gruppo di street dance nel sud di Londra.
Quando ebbe 14 anni, dopo essere stata individuata a una serata di esibizioni libere, iniziò a registrare con 2b3 Productions. Questo le permise di essere presentata a maggiori case di registrazione, ma la famiglia pensò che vista la giovane età era meglio continuare con la sua educazione. Rinvigorita dalla vita on the road, Nicola è più determinata ad avere il suo nome sottolineato nel prossimo tour. Nicola ha lavorato con i bambini da quando aveva 17 anni, insegnando canto, pianoforte e abilità nella tecnologia musicale. Lavora ancora come insegnante di canto e violino, così come collabora nella scrittura di canzoni con differenti gruppi giovani. Nicola crede che trasmettere le sue abilità alla generazione successiva sia importante e soddisfacente.

Singer Songwriter Musician, Nicola Sipprell was born in South London in 1987. She grew up surrounded by diverse musical influences - her Canadian father, a classical concert pianist, her mother a Greek singer.
Alongside her three older brothers, also classical musicians, she began learning the violin and piano at the age of 6 and joined her local church choir, which she committed to for 10 years. She soon discovered her love and natural talent for R'n'B / soul music and was able to use her classical training to her advantage. When she was 8, she began speech and drama classes that led to numerous trophies and medals from festivals, as well as eventually achieving 2 Lamda gold medals.
Nicola's incredible pitching and ear for harmony were apparent from an early age. At 10, when she wrote her first song, she was able to incorporate this into her first-ever recording with family friend and record producer Rob Persaud. Nicola has continued to develop her intricate harmony lines over the years and this has become a recognisable trademark in her music, adding to her distinction amongst thousands.
At the age of 13, she joined a Pineapple dance group, which led to her performing on the Blue Peter Queens Silver Jubilee as backing dancer for Zoe Birkett from Pop Idol (2002). Nicola later joined a South London street dance group, XP being taught by some successful commercial dancers.
When Nicola was only 14, after being spotted at an open-mic night, she began recording with 2b3 Productions (who launched Beverley Knight amongst other impressive credentials). This led to a deal being presented by a major record company, but at such a young age her family thought it best for her to continue with her education.
Although disappointed, Nicola continued with her musical pursuit alongside achieving 10 GCSEs and 3 A levels. She also undertook an intense year of study at the London School of Musical Theatre, where she received further training in singing, dancing and acting and achieved a diploma.
In 2006, Nicola became backing singer for Lily Allen, giving her the experience of performing at venues such as Wembley Arena and London Astoria as well as numerous other UK and international venues. Invigorated by life on the road, Nicola is even more determined that her next tour will have her name headlining. Another experience that has spurred her desire to succeed was doing backing work for Leona Lewis. That same year she also released a charity single for Macmillan Cancer research.
Nicola has been working with children since she was 17, teaching them singing, piano and music technology skills. She still works as a vocal coach and violin teacher, as well as giving song-writing workshops to different youth groups. Nicola feels that passing on her skills to the next generation is important and very fulfilling.
Pulling her experiences and links together, Nicola is working harder than ever to achieve her dream. She is now independently working with top UK producers to record her long-awaited debut album.
