"New Groove Formation ha creato uno show unico con tantissima energia e molte sensazioni positive!"
La band si è formata nel primo 2004 quando quattro musicisti locali si misero insieme per provare nella dormiente Bedfordshire. Avendo un mutuale rispetto e desiderio di suonare lo stesso genere di musica la band iniziò velocemente a scrivere materiale.
Poco dopo Didge e MC Dutter sono stati arruolati rispettivamente come percussionista e rapper. Pochi mesi dopo intrducendo molti pezzi e una sezione per la tromba, la band si completò.
Amano la musica che suonano, ritmi funky, groove e reggae, dub e ska. Ogni membro ha portato qualcosa di diverso nella band che si unisce al resto e dà delle performace elettrificanti. Il gruppo passa molto tempo assieme su e giù dal palco e questo contribuisce alla resa delle esibizioni.
Lo stile è cambiato leggermente negli anni, con un nuovo bassista e tanti cambiamenti nella parte del corno! La band è cresciuta ed ha creato un ampio repertorio.
Abbiamo supportato The Babyshambles, Bad Manners, The Beat, The Trojans, Skaville UK, The Dead '60 e Tarantism e siamo inoltre apparsi a BBC Three Counties Radio. Durante gli anni abbiamo suonato in davvero molti posti e festival come ad esempio The Strawberry Fair, Milton Keynes Football Stadium (a metà tempo del derby di calcio MK Dons!), Sunrise Celebration Festival, Bedford River Festival, Cafè De Paris, Lark in The Park, The Rhythm Factory e molti molti altri!

The band formed in early 2004 when four local musicians got together and starting jamming in sleepy Bedfordshire. Having a mutual respect and desire to play the same sort of music the band quickly started writing material.
Shortly afterwards Didge and MC Dutter were enrolled as percussion and rapper respectively. A few more months on a few more tunes and a horn section was introduced, the band was complete.
Playing music they all love from, dirty funky beats, grooves and breaks to reggae, dub and ska. Every member has brought something different to the band which comes together to give an electrifying performance. The band has a great time together on and off stage and this comes across in the performance.
The line up has changed a little over the years, with a new bass player and a number of changes in the horn section! The band has gone from strength to strength and a large repertoire has been created. Our aim is simply to get the crowd dancing!
Gigging at a multitude of pubs, clubs and festivals across the country and appearing on local radio stations, New Groove Formation have crafted a unique show with lots of energy and plenty of good vibes!
